Slowly getting there…

The engine is now permanently in place but nothing connected yet.  ...and I just realize that I forgot to document the simplified back plate and the moved ignition coils (see my earlier post Remodelling the engine mount and My current engine mount will not fit…)... too late now...

 I can already reveal that the next challenge will be the exhaust system in relation to the landing gear…

Proof of concept and dry run...

Engine mock-up in position to confirm that the engine can be positioned as planned. The firewall need to be modified.

Engine temporarily in place with the modified engine mount.  Next step is to close the firewall again…
