Hi Fred, I've been scouring the internet for the dimensions of this engine and yet to no avail! I've read your story so far but thought I'd leave a comment on a post that was more engine related. What are the dimensions for the engine? and how much allowance around it should you give? Thanks, George
Hi George! on one of the first pages, page 3 I think, in the "Operators Manual Victor 2" (you find the link in the "Link" section in the right column) there is detailed drawing of the engine with the main dimentions. You can also access the same drawing through the "Simonini Italy" link. The over all size in very similar to Rotax 532/582. Main difference is the rear part that is wider as shown in my pictures. On a trike, or 3 axis with "free air" engin installation, you should be able to use standard 582 mount. A more cage like 582, heads down, engin mount like the one I used will most likely require modification. If there are any specific dimentions you need I could measure on mine. regards Fred
